LTAC  CAREER TRACK PROFESSIONAL DESIGNATIONS

Set yourself apart and ensure a positive and prosperous outlook for you and your company by attaining a LTAC Career Track Designation (C.T.I.S. or C.E.S.S).  LTAC courses are taught by instructors who are leaders in the Colorado title industry.  We provide a comprehensive platform to demonstrate your knowledge by completing classes, exams and other requirements that display your understanding of either title insurance or the closing process

Please note: Designation as a Certified Title Insurance Specialist or a Certified Escrow Settlement Specialist solely demonstrates that a land title professional has met the particular standards and criteria of the programs developed by the Land Title Association of Colorado for these certifications. The industry designation is awarded by the Land Title Association of Colorado (LTAC) to  professionals who have completed classes, exams, and other requirements and display a thorough understanding of title insurance and closing processes.  An applicant must be employed by a member in good standing with LTAC and have a valid Colorado Producer’s license.  There are two programs available. 

  The Certified Title Insurance Specialist (C.T.I.S.)   Students must pass exams with at least a 75% score in each of the classes listed for each designation. 
  Certified Escrow  Settlement Specialist  (C.E.S.S.) Students must pass exams with at least a 75% score in each of the classes listed for each designation. 

 

Continuing Your Education 

Once a candidate has received their Designation, they must have 8 hours of continuing education every 2 years.  CE credit can be earned by taking LTAC classes, being on the LTAC  education committee, teaching our classes, attending education sessions at convention or being on the LTAC Board of Directors.  Candidates must maintain their Colorado Producer’s license and be employed by a member in good standing in order to maintain the designation.
